Rover has moved into syndication with Infinity Broadcasting (now known as CBS Radio) in 2005. He moved from Cleveland to Chicago in late 2005, taking on WCKG as his new flagship station. On August 1, 2006, WCKG picked up Opie & Anthony in syndication; Rover returned to his former home market of Cleveland.
In 2007, WMMS hired Rover away from CBS Radio to do mornings on legacy rock station WMMS.
