Rover has moved into syndication with Infinity Broadcasting (now known as CBS Radio) in 2005. He moved from Cleveland to Chicago in late 2005, taking on WCKG as his new flagship station. On August 1, 2006, WCKG picked up Opie & Anthony in syndication; Rover returned to his former home market of Cleveland.
Rover's show airs on stations owned by CBS Radio, Emmis, and Nassau Broadcasting. He was on a Clear Channel-owned station, but lost that affiliate (WMAD in Madison, WI) when it flipped to country in 2005.
