Opie & Anthony returned to radio on October 4, 2004 on XM Satellite Radio. They had been off the air since August 2002, when their infamous "Sex For Sam 3" competition ended up getting them fired from WNEW (their flagship station), dropped from Westwood One radio syndication, and put into radio limbo for the remainder of their contract with Infinity (which officially expired on June 1, 2004.)

Their show returned to syndication (via Robert Eatman) on April 26, 2006, with a three-hour morning program that is simulcast on terrestrial radio and XM.
