Infinity Broadcasting quickly snapped up Tom Leykis and Phil Hendrie for their AM comedy station, Johnson 970 (KCMD). Both shows were dropped last month by the now-defunct Max 910 (which changed to oldies when Entercom's FM oldies station picked up the quickly-growing Variety Hits format in its place). Both Leykis and Hendrie will air live on KCMD; I can't think offhand of another Infinity station that airs Hendrie, who is distributed by Premiere Radio, which is owned by Clear Channel.

The Bob & Tom page has been updated to list a new station that streams its broadcast live online. We had listed the WKLS 96 Rock (Atlanta market) station, but since it dropped Bob & Tom last month it needed an update.

Infinity FM Talk outlet WBUF Buffalo has flipped from Hot Talk to Variety Hits as 92.9 Jack FM. Howard Stern remains on the station through the end of his contract, but the rest of the shows, including Don & Mike and Tom Leykis, are gone. Typically the Jack FM brand launches without any jocks or holdover shows, but with the way Stern's contract is structured, I presume that wasn't an option in Buffalo (not to mention how it would further antagonize the situation between Stern and Infinity).

Don & Mike have announced that Infinity Broadcasting will soon be streaming their show online. It's not clear if it will be an AOL-only thing (there was no mention of that) or if it will be pay-based (again, there was no mention of that, either). You can hear Don & Mike online if you know where to go (that info is on the D&M page), but having it cleared officially by Infinity Broadcasting and Westwood One would make life much easier for displaced Don & Mike fans who can't hear the show in their local market.

Bob & Tom have a new home in the Tallahassee market: 106.1 WUTL, which, for what it's worth, was once the home of Lex & Terry in the market (they now air there on Clear Channel's WXSR).
